Project Management

PM&A has extensive experience in PMO management and the core project management and tasks. Our project management methodology utilizes core best practices as contained in the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK). As such, our Project Managers, Project Coordinators and support staff are trained in project management and have attained PMP certification where necessary.

With project management, it’s important to establish a plan to accomplish the work. This requires the identification, estimation, and sequencing of tasks. The team must manage competing priorities, demands, risks, and issues while maximizing quality. Understanding the scope, required resources, and costs are essential to prime delivery.

PM&A also understands the importance of executing project management activities within the framework of a Project Management Office (PMO). The PMO helps to standardize processes and provides greater visibility and control over the entire project life cycle. Implementing a PMO equipped with the right tools and processes will reduce project risk and increase the success rate.

In addition, leadership, communication, change management and relationship management are important in conjunction with project management. This includes all phases of a project and all client management and staff. PM&A’s Managing Member provides project oversight and quality assurance for all project related activities and client deliverables.
